William Van Horn is generally known for his Disney ducks, but in the 1980s he did a wonderful comic book series for Blackthorne Publishing called Nervous Rex. Both art and story were clearly inspired by George Herriman. I loved this series and was very sad when it ended. I feel very fortunate to own this complete story.
