Wrightson, Bernie

The lush beauty of Bernie's inks are breathtaking. The way his brush flows and creates textures contrasted in black and white entrances us. His subject material and imagery always stirs the imagination. Bernie was a master of composition, using lighting and the placement of blacks to devastating effect, especially in his peak brush work from '71-'74. His fantastic and monstrous horror creations live on etched in our brains. Gasp!!
