Well, after taking so long to finally land a Gray Morrow original, this fell into my hands pretty quickly. But probably for the 1st time ever, I've bought an interior page without even having the original colored (?) version in my collection to compare it to; I don't even know where it was 1st published. Does anybody know? Penthouse Comix? Hustler Comics? Once again, I love the contrast Morrow shows between fine lines & blacked areas, something he was apparently too lazy to do in some of his later work in the '90s. He even pasted in some textured backgrounds as well as some good ole fashioned zipatone. This was done on heavier than usual board & for once, there are brown spots here & there. Guess the media wasn't as stable as the thinner bristol boards most artists used. Image areas is around 13" X 17"
