Jim Woodring The Hero With A Thousand Excuses

Three original drawings (ink on pencil with occasional Tip-Ex) from 2003 series for Jim Woodring's The Hero With A Thousand Excuses featuring further adventures of Frank. Hero would eventually be published in a limited edition of 1000 copies by Top Shelf (Australia) in 2007. Paper measures 9 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches, images measure 6 3/8 x 8 3/8 inches. Initialled in image as usual. Come as personally mounted by Jim. Of the four pages I bought, way back in 2004, three were inscribed and signed to verso. Plate 5 wasn't, presumably forgotten in Jim's hurry to get them in the post to me. The buyer of this drawing (plate 5) will receive the signed book in lieu. Please see all photographs.
