Harry C. Bradley - Original Pin-up Art (c.1943). Sitting Pretty, published by the Joseph C. Hoover and Sons Calendar Company, Philadelphia. This painting became one of the most popular pin-ups both during and after World War II. In addition to multiple size calendar prints, it was reproduced on men's wallets, keychains and pocket mirrors. Airbrush on board, framed (36 x 28), sight size approximately 27.5 x 19.5. Signed lower left. Reproduced in The Great American Pin-up (Martignette & Meisel), page 332, fig.767.
