EDITORIAL Cartoons
Largely overlooked by comic art collectors, editorial cartoons have some remarkable art and images. Most of the material in this gallery will be from my collection and not for sale -though I may add some images laterfrom a friends collection of over 300 originals that is for sale. The interesting thing is that many Pulitzer prize winners can be purchased for far less than most common 1970's superhero interiors. My interest tends to mainly be crime related cartoons especailly related to Chicago History and the Capone mob but I have a few pieces related to other themes especially a small collection of anti-commie material and a few WW2 pieces.
