Paolo Bacilieri - Bob84
A Paolo Bacilieri piace indagare. Lo fa da sempre con i disegni, come quando scrive i suoi fumetti, ad esempio Barokko: investigatore privato e protagonista di un cinico hard boiled urbano, ambientato nella Roma metropolitana. O quando disegna sceneggiature altrui, come ad esempio quella di Vincenzo Filosa per Bob 84, un noir a fumetti ambientato in Italia, che richiama alla memoria i polizieschi anni Ottanta e i manga d’autore. Bacilieri sa che la realtà, se la guardiamo attentamente, può raccontarci molto. E non sa cosa si perde chi ha fretta, chi ha gli occhi abbassati, chi pensa ad altro. Il Bacilieri della fine degli anni Ottanta e quello di oggi hanno lo stesso sguardo, sempre attento, curioso, attivo, penetrante. Barokko era stato creato nel 1988 per “A Suivre”, la prestigiosa rivista francese di Casterman, dove trovavano spazio alcuni dei maestri assoluti dell’avventura a fumetti. Le pagine sono davvero un piccolo mondo zeppo di informazioni. I personaggi hanno il volto segnato dal loro passato, e ogni segno ha qualcosa da dire, gli ambienti sono pieni di oggetti che Paolo ci invita a riconoscere, per attivare circuiti di memoria, reminiscenze empatiche. E poi gli esterni: pubblicità, cartelli, lampioni, nebbie, panchine, architetture. Ogni oggetto ha la sua storia, in un gioco di rimandi, e di approfondimenti senza fine
