Hi everyone! I’m comic-book artist Dan Lawlis and I started my career in 1987 at Marvel with Strange Tales. I went on to illustrate a number of books there like Doctor Strange, Savage Sword of Conan (231), including a 3 issue fully painted series of Starlord! At DC I drew an issue of Legion 93, For Dark Horse I illustrated two series, Barbwire, and Agents of Law. I did various other fill-in issues like X-Men unlimited and Marvel Valentines Day Special, and others. Most people remember my painted work the most, creating art for the Marvel Fleer Ultra line (Hulk vs Wolverine, Wolverine vs Cable, Spiderman vs Wolverine, Wolverine vs Magneto, Longshot vs Mojo, and Polaris. Recently I’ve returned to my first love (comics) with a character called Kent Menace. I’m starting to take on more comic-book work, using my gathered skills from my long career as a professional artist.
