Thanos Quest original airbrush by Tom Vincent over Ron Lim overlays

These 2 pages have a story behind them. Around 1995 I was a poster on the old rec.arts.comics.misc Usenet newgroup, where colorist Tom Vincent mentioned that he had been fired as colorist of Silver Surfer. I replied that that was a shame, because I really loved the watercolors that he did on the Thanos Quest series. This was published pre-computer coloring, around 1991, so this was still a special undertaking. Within a day or so of my post, I received a personal email from Tom Vincent saying that he was bummed about losing his job but my post really made his day, and as a thank you he wanted to send me 2 pages for free. True to his word, that's exactly what he did. I was a broke recent college grad at the time, so this was a big deal to me. I hope he comes across this one day to see that I appreciated and held onto them all this time!
