Image - Infiniti
A forgotten character created by Eric Stepenson and Richard Horie at the beginning of Image. She appeared as a back up story in Brigade #2, Shadowhawk #3, and Supreme #1-2. So far everyone I've talked to about this give me one of three responses: "There's a back up story in there?", "I never read those books, I just collected them.", or a blank stare. As a teenager I thought this was so cool and I scoured the internet looking for the art. Decades later, all of the original art was posted for sale in one lot on Ebay. I recall that I wasn't going to contact the seller to give me a Buy It Now price because that might make them think that this was truly valuable. So I initially bid the opening price and then as the last minute put in some pretty high bids to try to insure that I'd win. Well, it didn't matter, I was the only bidder. Once again, no one cared. What was cool about this lot is that it also included a never before printed pin-up piece and the first page of part one had a acetate overlay with the stats. It also amuses me to see that some of the pages were drawn on Marvel art boards and sometimes they would paste an "Image Comics" stat over the marvel logo.
