OTTO GABOS
Chi è Otto Gabos: L'attività di Otto Gabos (alias Mario Rivelli) si muove tra fumetto, illustrazione e insegnamento, nutrendosi di tutti gli stimoli (soprattutto musicali) che lo circondano. Nella sua ormai quasi ventennale attività ha lavorato per numerose riviste, illustrato libri e ha fatto parte di alcuni tra i più importanti movimenti del fumetto. Dopo aver esordito su "Tempi Supplementari" e aver collaborato con "Frigidaire" e "Dolce Vita", è tra i fondatori della rivista "Fuego", dove inizia a pubblicare una delle sue serie più importanti, Apartments. Per Granata Press c'è la collaborazione con Pino Cacucci per il romanzo a fumetti Tobacco, mentre sono diverse le serie e le storie che scrive per "Cyborg", sia nella versione Star Comics che Telemaco. Per la Phoenix conclude Apartments e scrive il romanzo a fumetti Coldgraze e la miniserie San Pietro. Amplia la sua collaborazione scrivendo a quattro mani con Massimo Semerano una storia di Conan il barbaro nel 1996 e inizia una lunga collaborazione con "Mondo Naif", da cui scaturiranno, tra le varie cose, i libri I camminatori e Loving the alien, nonché la serie "Ladri di lunarie", su disegni di Menotti. All'inizio del 1999 dà vita assieme a Omar Martini al progetto Frontiera, di cui sarà co-editor, sceneggiatore e disegnatore. Recentemente ha illustrato per la Bruno Mondadori il romanzo Un sac de billes, dall'omonimo romanzo di Joseph Joffo.
