Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four #17

I stumbled upon this book by accident thanks to a CAF update. It featured a dynamite Spidey vs Venom page by Kano I would have loved to own, but by the time I made it to Splash Page Art it was already snagged by another collector. Still, I have fond memories of Kano’s time on Action Comics, so I browsed around his page and found a sweet page of Ben Grimm on a date that caught my eye.

I’d never heard of Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four, so I tracked down a copy of the issue by Zeb Wells and Kano and was moved by the emotion they packed into this single issue. The ending was truly heartbreaking and stuck with me, so I ended up purchasing quite a few pages from the issue. Maybe one day I’ll find a way to reunite the whole issue.
