Drawings I've made as an adult. In 2008, I didn't draw much for a while. I became addicted to Facebook just to reconnect with old school friends and meet people with the same tastes and passions as me. Little by little, I developed obsessive-compulsive disorder, always uploading and downloading photos, liking and disliking posts, comparing myself to other people's lives, answering messages at bedtime (I used to turn off my phone so I could fall asleep), swallowing fake news, being blocked for no reason, and enduring insults and false accusations from idiots who frequent groups and pages. Then I joined Twitter and Instagram and lived in a charade, feeling dominated, until in 2020, while confined by the damn pandemic, I got fed up and deleted all social media. I had no regrets. I felt liberated and live life as optimistically as possible. I only use YouTube (to upload my short films) and WhatsApp (for work and to stay in touch with family and friends). I've never owned or used TikTok; it's idiotic. I refuse to join another disgusting social network. Now I only draw, read, or write scripts when I'm not working. I still believe in handmade art, no AI. That's a soulless algorithm. It destroys the creativity that we humans can create with our own hands, putting our whole hearts into drawing, without needing to resort to something as false and empty as AI, paper and pencil, or watercolors if they're pure art.
