50th Anniversary Gallery

I don't remember ever not reading comic books but it's hard to pinpoint exactly when I started. When I was young, my parents would only allow me to keep so many, so I had to purge regularly. I have comics that I remember reading as a kid but I don't know if I picked up new or if I read later. But what I do know is that I have clear memories of the bicentennial issues in 1976 and had issues that I bought new off the spinner racks back then. So, I decided that I'd take that as my official start date and designate 2026 as my 50th anniversary year for collecting comics. Since I'm tending to collect more art than actual comics these days, what I'm doing is I'm asking the artists for pieces that I commission this year to work in the number "50" into either the piece or at least the background to celebrate. My goal is to get 50+ of them by end of the year for my celebration and share them with everyone in this special gallery.
