Estrada, Ric (American, 1928-2009): Born in Cuba, Ric Estrada came to the USA in 1947, and was soon was working for Hillman, EC, Ziff-Davis, St. John, and other comic book companies. In the sixties and seventies he worked at DC on their romance titles, and also drew many war and superhero stories. Estrada also worked in the animation field and was an influential instructor at the Famous Artist School and later, the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. Ric Estrada and Vince Colletta : Girls' Romances #158 (DC, 1971). Pages 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 of the story, "My Lover My Enemy." A young woman plays a dangerous game when she finds herself falling in love with a man suspected of being an enemy agent in this Cold War combination of spy thriller and love story. "Horoscope, Don´t Fool with My Heart!" is a complete 11-page story from Girls' Romances #152 ( DC, Oct 1970 ). Thanks to Mark Gavin for the information. "The Devil Waits" is a complete 5-page story from Blitzkrieg #5 ( DC, 1976 ). Strong storytelling and bold inking makes this an above average Estrada effort.
