Not enough room to offer Mister GILLON the credit he deserves. Suffice to say he was already professional as a teenager in 1940. He is mostly known for a famous strip in the newspaper "FRANCE SOIR" between 1959 and 1972 (collected edition in two volumes published by Humanïdes Associés in 1980 and 1982). With Jean-Claude FOREST (storyteller) he has created "Les Naufragés du temps". You will find his work on classic litterature adpatations (Moby Dick, Notre Dame de Paris), or contemporary ones (Au nom de tous les miens), ..And so much works : "Fils de Chine", Jérémie dans les îles" or "Le Fantôme de Barbe Noire", "Mécanoïdes associés", "La survivante", "Jehanne" ..."La dernière des salles obscures",. After one book of "Décalogue", the masterwork created by Frank GIROUD, he is currently working on Richard MALKA -former lawyer- stories : It's "L'Ordre de Cicéron". Paul GILLON has passed away saturday 21 of May 2011.
