RAMOS HUMBERTO

Humberto Ramos is a fantastic artist whose fresh cartoon/manga style has influenced a whole new generation of artists(LedHeavy anyone?).He's one of those artists who popularized the "manga style" in the US.Always ultra dynamic and exciting, his style recently reached new heights with Revelations whose pages were directly shot from the pencils with splendid colors manipulation applyed to them resulting in his best work to date.Favorites are:Impulse for the fun,Crimson for the gore and characters designs, Spiderman for the energy (and Venom) and of course Revelations for the technique.I was disapointed in Out there which I found to be too "Buffy-esque" and in his recent Wolvie run was was too over the top and where I found he covered anatomic and storytelling inadequacies by overstyling.And don't get me started on "K".Anyway,need more :)
