It's a pleasure to show some of this delicate prelims from Mister DAVIS. From MARVELMAN to EXCALIBUR....BATMAN, The X MEN, with a pencil to use or a typewriter, Alan DAVIS is a creator. No doubt ! I've loved (as a lot of readers did) "the Nail" story. His "FANTASTIC FOUR : the End " was a great time ! I've met the man and frankly I know I was lucky. Spend a 3 days week-end near Mister and Madame DAVIS was a blessing. Charming people ! At Lille festival, France, 2007, during the sunday, Alan DAVIS didn't stop to draw for fans from morning to evening. No even stopped to have a lunch...He simply didn't eat ! he was here for fans ! I wish you had a luck to see him draw so beautiful sketches for everyone !
