Undergroung comics of the 60's and early 70's pushed the limits against the comic code. The big 3 were Robert Crumb (I can't afford) Denis Kitchen and Gilbert Shelton . Without them today's comics would be lame and Anime with it's subjects would not exist except maybe Hello Kitty. Their fight still continues. Check out www.cbldf.org
