Australian artist of international fame (2 time Spectrum award winner, Eisner award nominee), he worked for major companies such Dreamworks, Warner Bros, Sony, Konami, Random House, Marvel Comics, etc. He worked on famous series : Hellspawn, Metal Gear Solid, Popbot, D'airain d'Aventure, Doomed, Lore, etc. He also produced several Artbooks: Grande Finale, Sparrow, Ode-Dos-Tres Fanta, 48 Nudes, Swallow, etc. He collaborated with Templesmith. Wood draws pin-ups a lot. He often exposes them in futuristic and apocalyptic situations, in universe of violence and sex where the future of the human being is always questioned. He produces many sketches and uses the color on computer. He also uses the realistic photo to apply effects on the background, revive a glance, etc...
