Eddie Campbell was born August 10th, 1955 in Scotland but spent a big part of its life in Australia. He lives in the suburb of Brisbane with his wife and his three children. It is in Glasgow, at the beginning of the 80s that he realizes his first comics. In 1989, he begins another large-scale project, From Hell on Alan Moore's scenario. This story appears in the Australian magazine Taboo, until its ban in 1992 because it is considered too violent. Eddie Campbell and Alan Moore resumed their collaboration on The Birth Caul (1999) and Snakes and Ladders (2001). Eddie Campbell's last publications, Graffiti Kitchen and The Dance of Lifey Death in the series Alec, were noticed by the criticism.
