Grails

GRAIL: any greatly desired and sought-after objective; ultimate ideal or reward. i know many of us are fortunate enough to collected several pieces of amazing original artwork. i have enjoyed checking out those posted here. there are of course hundreds of pages and covers etc i would like to have. who wouldn't want say the covers to hulk 340 or the killing joke? but my grails are nothing that have rocked the comic world per se. they are more personal items featuring favorite characters or artists. by the grace of god i was able to acquire my three greatest. good news for me my tastes line up with my budget. the hobby is funny because the grail i paid the least for is the one i have had the highest offer on and the other two i know i over paid for but i guess sometimes you just have to in order to shake them lose :) all are here to stay.
