Over the past couple years i have had five of my favorite character designs commissioned to several artists. the design and story behind leatherface is so absolutely disgusting most artists have been excited and more than willing to finish him in their own style. the process of giving many different artists the same reference with little direction and seeing what turns up always amazes me, so much talent out there. whenever possible i spring for a color finish. i think it can add alittle something, but knowing of course that most commissions would stand alone in just ink.
