Carlos V. Roume
Carlos V. Roume es un ilustrador, historietista y escultor argentino nacido en Buenos Aires en 1923. es el noveno hijo del arquitecto Francisco Roume. Su primer trabajo profesional fue para Publicidad Albatros en 1945. Colaboró luego con Publi-Art durante dos años y después, en forma independiente, para otras importantes agencias. Comenzó a dibujar historietas para la revista Patoruzito con el personaje Lapacho Juan. Luego realizó La Vida de Lassie para la Editorial Abril y adaptaciones de obras literarias como como Robinson Crusoe y Moby Dick. A comienzos de los '50s crea su famoso personaje Sabú, Más adelante, con guiones de Héctor G. Oesterheld, dibujó para la Editoral Frontera Nahuel Barros, Tipp Kenya y Patria Vieja. Entre 1954 y 1962 colaboró con la Fleetway de Gran Bretaña. Realiza Dick Daring, Kit Carson, Rodney Stone y Olac el Gladiador. Luego También listró, para el Corriere dei Piccoli de Italia, Hayawatha, Zane Canon y Alazzan. Se reencontró con el público argentino a partir de 1974, colaborando con la ilustración de historietas para la Editorial Record, en general sobre su tema favorito: los caballos. En 1984 ilustró una edición especial del Martín Fierro, de José Hernández. etc
