Wieringo, Mike

I love the Wally West Flash. Let me repeat myself, I LOVE THE WALLY WEST FLASH! This is due to 3 people. Mark Waid, Greg LaRocque, and Mike Wieringo. There are more people of course, administration, original creators, letterers, colorists, inkers, editors, guys who made the paper, Juan Valdez for the coffee, etc... Before I forget, thanks also to Jose Marzan Jr. for the beautiful inking on the series, loved it! I started reading the Flash on issue 54 and Wally was too cool for words. Mark Waid wrote some wonderful stories like Year 1, The Return of Barry Allen (who wasn't Barry), and all the great characters like Max and Jay that were brought into the mix. Twas awesome. Then Mike came on board. Took me till issue 87 (the bad Christmas issue) to know what a wonderful talent he was. Unlike Wally, I'm sometimes slow. Like a loyal dog, I followed Mike's work everywhere and he left us too early. I miss you man and love you dearly for the beauty you brought to this world.
