Max (a.k.a Maxime Perramon - France)




"Max" did arrive on the french "underground comix" scene at the height of the punk days, doing stories for Métal Hurlant (Heavy Metal), Echo des Savanes, Charlie Mensuel and others. His "Douceur Infernale" series in my opinion features some of his best work., dark but extremely funny. Much inspired by the EC tradition of horror comics as well as the US Underground Comix scene. A truly great artist!
