A friend of mine, fellow CAF member Brian Jones, had won several auctions for paintings by Mr. Beard. One year he asked Mr. Beard about doing drawings at shows. Mr. Beard said that he did and we have both purchased several drawings by Mr. Beard. This was to be one of 4 pin-ups in a Batman grapic novel that had beem propsed to DC. Unfortunately the novel was rejected. After it was finished I thought "Idiot. You should have had a wolf drawn beside Batman as Ace the Bat-Hound." If you ever meet Mr. Beard at a show, ask about a drawing. The amount of detail in it is unbelievable and you will not be disappointed.
