Description

A friend of mine, fellow CAF member Brian Jones, had won several paintings by Mr. Beard in auctions at the Pittsburgh Comicon. At one of the Cons Brian asked Mr. Beard if he drew at shows. Mr. Beard said yes and we have purchased several pieces of artwork from Mr. Beard. After this was finished I thought I should have requested a wolf drawn beside Batman dressed as Ace The Bat-Hound. This was to be one of four pin-ups that Mr. Beard was going to do for a proposed Batman graphic novel that DC never approved. If you ever see Mr. Beard at a show ask about a piece of artwork. The detail that he puts into the sketch is amazing. You will not be disappointed.
