Con Sketches
From time to time I find it entertaining to digress from big game hunting (and by that I mean full size, where can I put down this awkwardly large portfolio, 11 x 17 art) and revert back to being that wide eyed kid with a sketchbook in hand going from artist to artist asking for a quick sketch for my collection. Before most cons I arm myself with 4 or 5 pads of 9 x 12 bristol board from the local art store and by the time I hit whatever con I'm attending I scatter pads to as many artists as I can manage (which usually isn't a ton). The result is a fun little 9 x 12 sketch portfolio that gets a little bigger each year. Enjoy!
