Kane, Gil

Gil Kane worked on Spiderman, Batman, Superman, The Atom, Green Latern, Thunder Agents, Brain Boy… Nearly countless covers for Marvel, DC, Dell. Kane created some of the earliest experiments in Graphic Novels with his creations : “His Name Is... Savage !” and “Blackmark”. Gil Kane & Ron Goulart created Star Hawks prior to Star Wars. It was only after the George Lucas film's phenomenal success that the syndicate reconsidered doing a SciFi strip and Star Hawks saw print.
