*These are pictures of artwork that resides at Hasbro's main offices. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE PIECES! (but I wish I did)* I set up this gallery to share pictures I took during a recent tour of Hasbro. They opened up their vaults to display some incredible original artwork from the G.I. Joe toy line. The art covered the era from the 60s-80s, the prime Joe period, I guess. I took as many pictures as I could, but there were several I didn't get a chance to photograph. Hope you guys enjoy it. I know there are some hardcore Joe art collectors out there, so hopefully this will at least let you know the stuff exists, even though none of us will probably ever get to own it! Also, I spoke at length with Hasbro's main 'comic' guy. He told me there was a flood in the archives room a few years ago, and it damaged some artwork. He also said there is no original art from the original Marvel comic book series in the collection or anywhere in Hasbro HQ. He said if there was, he would know about it. Thought you guys would like to know.
