Always loved the story behind Evil Ernie and Lady Death. When Chaos! Comics came on the scene in the early 90's, I was blown away not just by the art and stories, but by the subject matter. Here were some sick & twisted comics in the vein of the horror films I loved so much and it was a huge departure from the other books I was reading at the time, largely Marvel, DC, Image, Valiant, etc. Steven Hughes and his very specific style were Chaos and his loss was surely felt when he passed away in 2000. Justiniano impressed me a lot too as an artist of Chaos, but Steven was and forever will be the definitive "look" of Chaos! to me.
Although Steven will always be the one who was best at depicting Ernie and Lady Death in my mind, Justiniano did a nice job as well. When he popped up doing Chaos Comics, I knew he would go far. Now he does DC work, but I still love his Evil Ernie & Lady Death most, which was where I first noticed him, so it has a special place to me. I hope to get some of his Chastity art from then too, if I can.
