SPACEGIRL

Hi there. This is a preliminary drawing i did of Charest's Spacegirl.I love his Spacegirl comic which he post on his site.Been dying to do a nice drawing of her and this is what i've come up with.I had found out that most of Charest pencil work were rendering (crosshatching) with a few finger smudging(outstanding).I had always assume that he uses a stump to do a smooth rendering but no....he said on his site "most of it is rendering (crosshatching) and if i need to smooth the drawing out i just use my finger.This Spacegirl i did was done mostly with crosshatching and i did it carefully and gingerly and also i tried to avoiding smudging if i can.Hope you like it.
