Cerebus Archive 4 Zombie Cover (May 26, 2010) by Dave Sim (1956-) 11 x 17 in., ink on Bristol Board Guinness Record holder Dave Sim produced this 14-issue series to document his pre-Cerebus work. Sales slumped and it was never completed. This alternative cover for issue #4 features a "zombie" version of the original Cerebus #4 cover from 1978. I would not necessarily pick up a zombie cover - that whole genre just escapes me - but I own that original 1978 cover, so having this one was poetic. The issue introduced Sim's parody of Elric, called Elrod the Albino, who spoke, I say, who spoke with the voice of Foghorn Leghorn... the looney toon, that is. You listenin' while I am talking to you, son? Yer eyes is blinkin' but yer mouth is droopin'....
