Description

Gorgeous watercolor of Aquaman, the King of the Seven Seas by his creator Paul Norris done in early 1992. I was fortunate to meet and break bread with Paul in the early 1990's since he lived nearby in Oceanside, just after he completed this stunning piece for me - a re-creation of the stunning Aquaman image (originally done by Nick Cardy) from the cover of Secret Origins #7 (DC, 1974). I have been an Aquaman fan ever since I was introduced to the hero through those wonderful Saturday cartoons in which they would feature Superman and Batman, and sometimes, Aquaman to my delight. The piece is pen and ink and watercolor. Any Aquaman artwork by Paul is ULTRA RARE with this piece being simply BREATHTAKING!
