DescriptionIn the January 1967 issue of TTA, the SM story was "Moment of Truth." After the Krang war.... and after Krang is disposed of, Namor summons Lady Dorma and explains that he had learned the truth about her siding with Krang and tells her that all is forgiven as she had sided with Namor's enemy to insure his safety and that she is once more welcome at his side as his chosen mate. They then address the people of Atlantis once more where they are cheered on by it's people. Imperious Rex! According to history, the art was more complicated than the story. Although only Everett is credited with the art, other artists contributed, including Romita and Giacoia. On pages 7-12, including this one, obviously, Marie Severin did the pencils, Dick Ayers did the inks, and Everett contributed the Sub-Mariner figures. Watch MARVEL Heroes on TV! (I was! I was!) |

![]() As soon as I read your description, it made sense. That's why most of the characters are turned away from the reader. Severin gave it great effort, but how can you properly imitate Everett faces? He was just too distinctive, and too good to properly copy. Very nice page, and all the better with the Marvel Bullpen history. Congrats! Posted on 6/9/2021 |

It may be one of the least stunning pages from the 60s Everett SM era, but the history of the time and place pushed me right over the edge when I saw this. You just *know* something is off but you flip to the credits and kind of force-fit it. Well... Bill was using his feet that morning and the little wings got in the way :) Posted on 6/12/2021 |
