Description

I love Jenny Frison's art and style, the fact that this was a cover featuring Death made this a must-have for me. Obviously, as would be expected with Jenny, Death is beautiful, from facial expression to hair to her eyes, Jenny knows how to bring out all the subtle beauty in her women. The cherry on top of this piece (so to speak) is the skull, it's the stuff of nightmares for sure; the teeth in the eye sockets is executed with great artistry and design, it's unnerving and yet it also has a sense of wonder to it. In my opinion, what makes this such a great piece is the simplicity and cleanness of it, there isn't a lot of background, there aren't additional characters, all of the focus is on Death and that focus has the power to stand on it's own.
