Description

Perhaps this is too traditional a team up, but who am I to pass up such a stellar Kirby-esque Rude piece that was created to honor the King. Steve was asked to "Wake up and Draw" on Heroes designated day of August 28, 2017 (Jack Kirby�s birthday), whatever he liked�and then auction off to benefit Hero Initiative. Introduced a year after Captain America, Simon and Kirby's other super-shield character, Guardian, was introduced in 1942. He was reintroduced in 1971 by Kirby, in the pages of Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen, as a clone of the original. There is more to the story but, after all, when isn't there?
