Description

During the better part of the 1980's, I was a PENCILLER, and this was a job that I had plenty of fun on.Roy Thomas wrote a fantastic script that tied the "Sandman" origin into the "1939 World's Fair",F.D.R & the "King of England", the birth of television, & the "Phantom of the Fair".I had to scan the art in "color" because of the "blueline" around the logo......geez....even then I was putting in logos myself...and I don't like lettering. I think this is one of the "better" splashpages that I've drawn.
