This is an absolutely fantastic cover. Pagulayan's art really is spectacular.
Thank you! First page I've acquired with father vs son. Finally! :D
Thanks T Shen. Happy to have been able to add this one.
Thank you! The more I look at it, the more I like it. :D
These really were such great stories. This is where it was all heading in the beginning for Skaar. Father vs son! Looking forward to seeing their story evolve over the years.
Simply awesome. Congrats T Shen! THIS is the Hulk I wanna see on screen again.
Congrats on the new panel T Shen. "Here, lemme turn that into bacon bits" :D Love all things Hulk related.
You're quite welcome. Always happy to post them for those who enjoy them and to check out all the new finds everyone else gets too. Actually, your Hulk collection is some of my favorite stuff here on CAF as well. :)
Thanks again T Shen. Hopefully, I'll have more to share in the coming weeks.
Wow. That one is a stunner. Congrats!
Thanks T Shen. Would be nice to see this play out on the big screen at some point.
Seems like he was going back and forth with the axe angle for a bit. In all three pieces, the axe is in a different position, which is cool as I do appreciate the variety.
Unfortunate that you had such bad luck at the show but hot damn, you ended up with a nice Prime piece. The pink really does work in this painting. Congrats!
Wow...you've got some killer stuff. Great cover.
Lol Isn't that the truth? Marvel needs to step up some of these intros to say the least. Hopefully, they course correct and give him a decent story but if they don't, at least he'll live on in Ron's run of the character. :)
Thanks T Shen. I was looking over my art and I guess I didn't see this comment before. Green with envy. :D
I agree. Ron's way of expressing action and chaos is just so good.
Nice splash. I need a hulk vs skaar page.
Caiera vs Galactus... fantastic page. I see Surfer creeping in there too. :D
I do hope they explore that story in an upcoming mcu movie. I'd love to see Hulk back on Sakaar and them introducing Caiera and explaing that story in order to show how Skaar came about.
I can't tell you how much I share that sentiment. Would LOVE to see him fighting the dragons of Sakaar.
Ron definitely knows how to make things look impactful. It's alright though, Skaar can take it. lol
This was the piece I was most excited about. This is one of my top 3 comic covers of all time. I wish he did more on the Skaar run.
Thanks T Shen. He really did define what I believe Skaar to be.
After reading What if Planet Hulk 1 and World War Hulk 5, I agree that Skaar # 1 is definitely his first full story. WIPH only shows him in two tiny panels and WWH5 is the last page in a single panel. Would be nice to see CGC fix that on their labels. Great piece.
Ron has a way with bringing the dark side of characters to the page. The more I look at his art direction, the more I like it. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you!
I thought it was cool how the 5 pages displayed the Trench being hidden from sight, to overtaking the boat and after dispatching the crew, they were quietly drifting to shore while the people on shore were oblivious to what lies ahead. Cool little scene :)
Thank you. :)
I realized that I hadn't posted it without the framework around it so I figured I'd add it to my gallery. I love Ivan's work.
That's a great piece! Very nice..
@lobster- I'd love to see some of them in the Justice movie coming up or at the very least, Aquaman. Fingers crossed. @Kenneth- Thank you. They are definitely a great team. Tempted to pick up the Aquaman and the others 1 cover now.. ;)
Thank you. I just used the original pic from the studio I purchased it from since it now sits in a frame. :)
