Thanks Chris! always a pleasure to talk with you at he shows. Chirs is a great guy that does work for a great group called ACTOR and all art collectors should be like him- faithful and picky. much appreciation!
The piece has ben sold, has has the original ink/color version. But prints of the ink/color version are available and will be posted here shortly. Thanks to everyone at MegaCon who stopped by to say how much they enjoyed it! You guys and gals really made my weekend!
wow. This looks really light, but the sigs are kind of over powering otherwise. I got Ron to sign this when we did the Jacksonville, FL DreamCon together two years ago. He was guest of honor, I was just a special guest with the VCP crew. Mignola signed it a month or so later at SanDiego ComicCon. He thought it was funny that I had gotten both he and Ron to sign it.
Yes, this is my wife. When I was atempting to secure work with Chaos! as a pin-up artist I did a series of lady Death and Bad Kitty pieces- I thought I would do one of my very own " Bad Kitty" too. She hates that tell people this is her. and yes, she does look like this.
actually the second in a three piece set. The fisrt was done as a commission and prints were sold at San Diego last year. I have none left... it is possible that the first will never see the light of day. Shame, it was much softer and had the two face to face, smiling. It was really something nice and not erotic or sultry... perhaps they went downhill after the first one?
This piece is supposed to be inked by the great Bukshot. I can not tell wheter it will or not, but it is supposed to be inked and then the ninja clan marking in back will be colored red. Nice "pop" piece like that, eh? I was aiming for the whole plying card feel with it, kind of like a face card. This is supposed to be sent to Devil's Due in an effort to get some pin-up work...
Thanks! I have had to draw a number of these... People seem to like it, I guess. I think that the original may be the best one, but I have no idea who has it. If you have it, PLEASE post it up so that we can compare!!!
Gary did not even let me finish signing this at MegaCon 2005 before snatching it up...
hating selling this piece, even if it was to Gary... he has a few things of mine now. but I still hated parting with this.
I always thought that this was one of the cooler quick sketchs that I did for someone... I so rarely like my stuff. This was done for a great cause, for someone who truly appreciated it. Glad to have been able to do it.
thanks for considering me a "young talent" and giving this young pup a chance! Where /when did I sell this to you?
