I remember going through Matt's portfolio, which had a lot of pages from Behold the Devil at that time, and picking out this one. Until I saw it again this year, I had forgotten that he wrote my name on it. Fortunately, I have been fortunate enough to pick up some other pages from Grendel after I let this one go. Excellent! I'm not sure what JP's inking process is but a ightbox seems likely. There are two pages, you can see the pencils in the additional images section above. If you click on the tthumbnail you'll get the large version. I'm dfinately a fan of this combo. |
