13 issues in and still one of if not my favorite page from the series so far. Today I love how the head rises in the mid panel, to the smirk in the next. INTO DEVASTATOR!!!
The last two panels, the smile on his face is priceless, the happiest bot in the universe.
I think my favorite part of this page is the sound lettering at top. I can hear the sounds of a combiner combining/transforming every time I read it. And that smirk on Devastators face, perfect. Huge congrats!

Love this page, the middle panel is great. I get the same sense of nostalgia reading the book. DWJ understands 3 things, G1 designs are perfect, Optimus always does the honorable thing and is a gentle soul, and finally Starscream is gigantic prick.
