Beautiful cover. Move over Paul the Samurai, there is a new game in town.
One of my favorite covers by Tyler. Great piece, thanks for sharing.
Thank you, when I bought this from DOA- I was torn over which page to buy, so I bought the other one I have posted also LOL. You have some great pieces in your gallery.
LMAO- until then we will have only the Gaurdians chatkine to admire
Great Piece! I managed to get a page from this issue, with lil Hal buil;ding a model X plane. Congrats!
I agree. Admittedly, I am partial to the backstory on page 9. The other GL in Sector 2814- found out that morning?! When did he get a ring? His other appearances included a imaginary story and a bus accident, but he gets a message from Hal and upload from the Guardians...? LOL
Hi Filmore, perferably I wish to sell the piece. However, I am open to reasonable trades.
I asked him about that a few years ago, when he signed the page. He said, it was something he did often- put a easter egg into a script and see what the artist would do with it.
Agreed, I have to admit JRJR art can be hit or miss for me, even on Marvel books. That said, this and the Sinestro cover are some of my favorites of his DC work. Not that I'm biased in any way
Wow! I bet this looks better in person. A great addition to your portfolio.
Thanks Ruben- we missed you this year, maybe next year.
George mentioned these were for cut scene reaction shots. I know the Teen Titans Go! is not for everyone, but I enjoy it with my son. George told me he thought it was cute.
Great Piece. One of my favorite Easter Egg pages, being the GL fan I am.
Beautiful peace, from one of my favorite books
Once again, interesting observations. I agree the elephant and bluejay are wonderfully rendered.
You have some great call outs, Staton definitely brought other worldly, but relatable characters to the title.
I am of 2 minds on Ch'P. While I am partial to Newton's original realistic depiction, Staton brought an extra dimension to him. I am proud to say, I have great examples from both of them
Nah, no need for that. Besides Virginia makes the best oatmeal cookies.
Great piece. Jazzy Johnny never ceases to impress
Truly a great piece. I think a lot of Sakai and UY fans, were introduced through the TMNT. Congratulations on the cover.
Great pick-up. I hope this is the start of the final act, of what will fix the worse ASM story from decades ago.
Thanks, I see you picked up the cover. Great piece in of itself. I agree, I'm happy with MJ and Peter also.
Stunning piece. I really like Van Sciver's attention to detail, which is always one of his strengths. Thanks for putting up the scan.
Great Piece. This is one of my favorites from Bagley's run on New Warriors.
Great piece Ruben. I agree with you, Grummett and Austin really captured the Romita-vibe. The image Black Widow makes you wonder just how dangerous she is, and if it may be worth finding out.
This takes my Fred Hembeck Cyborg Superman comment all the more special lol
Thanks Ruben, I am very lucky to get these. This storyline, reminds me of the Spidey stories I read growing up.
Awesome piece. I remeber this issue. Kyle got a heat for that.
Thanks Ruben. I know Marty did a few pin-ups after this, but no other sequential art. I first met him around 1993. My copy of GL #19 was one of his comps. I have been looking for one of these pages for awhile.
So I need to return Fred Hembeck, binary code version of Hank Henshaw commission? Do you know how much thought I put into this?
This is probably the only piece I have, that you didn't see first. lol Scott Hanna did a great job on the finishes. The layouts were very loose on the page.
Ruben is that guy we all see leering around the corner. We just pretend we don't see him... lol
I found his work satisfactory, but you'd have to be Neal Adams to follow Gil kane...
Thanks, Ruben. I love this piece, Tom brought something more to the Bryne story.
