Beautiful work, Rob! My favorite out of the series so far. Great use of the paper to act as shadow.

The title just about says it, Rob... great job. Love the "quasi-Hispanic" look of your women and especially the use of colored paper for your colored pencil illustrations. It adds a LOT to the overall richness of the art.

I like it, but it's not as strong as the women you've been doing. Looks like you have a thing for girls! :) The main weakness is the skull... it doesn't have enough "character" to it. He looks bored. And his head flames look like they need more lighter fluid. They need to be more exciting and punchy, instead of just a single unit blowing off his noggin. Still, nice job.

Good... keep it comin'! What're you using for reference? The poses are nice. Any male characters coming up?

Why not compare two illustrations of the same subject by the same artist if you feel one works and the other could be better? That's the whole idea behind constructive criticism and the reason for this comments section, I thought. Simply lavishing praise on someone and never pointing out how they might improve their work may be "nice," but ultimately doesn't help them. I think it's nicer to let someone know if you think they can do better. Rob's a big boy... he may not agree with some criticism, but he can handle it. :)

Now THAT'S Elektra! More than makes up for the visual stiffness of the other pic! Let's see more paintings like THIS, kid! :D

SOMEONE'S a little sensitive... did you miss your naptime? :) If you can't take some constructive criticism, you're in the wrong biz, brother. Even your main man, Rob Liefeld, wasn't perfect.

Nice art, great coloring, but try flippin' her upside down to make it more dramatic. Oriented the way she is now makes her look stiff, instead of the sinuous flow of crimson carnage she's meant to be.

Eh... nice, but it just REALLY reminds me of an old drag queen. Or that creepy old pedophile who chases after the son on Family Guy. Good art, but creepy in the WRONG ways. :)

Time to stop wasting time on that half-assed poser Thanos and do a pic of the OG cosmic badman, Darkseid! You know, created by your hero, King Kirby? This one's okay, though... ;)

Nicely done, Rob! One of your better pieces and capturing the essence of ol' Frank perfectly: a seriously-screwed up Vet with, literally, time on his hands to kill.
