And his technique is to re-pencil then ink, no tracing here!
Brilliant... and 'No!' 😀
Hi Jeff. Bolton's run on the strip ran for a little over a year in Look-in, a weekly UK title though the strip itself ran for around three years. Sadly, I doubt there is a market for a reprint. I managed to pick up old copies before I chanced upn these originals at auction some years ago. Would love to own more (the rest?) but early Bolton work can be elusive.
...which is probably why it didn't sell in the auction! I picked it up with an offer after the sale. I'll settle for Ms Welch in the splash!
Very nice. Excellent idea and execution.
Absolutely. I admired this piece when it sat in Malcolm Bourne's collection, kicked myself when I missed an opportunity to buy it (my fault, not Dr Bourne's) and it headed across the Atlantic... then delighted to secure it from Albert Moy. Slightly guilty about the transportation fuel though...
That's amazing!
Lovely piece which evokes great memories of reading that seminal run on the good Doctor.
Ah, that's where it went! Great, slightly atypical piece by Gulacy. Thanks for sharing... though wish it were in my collection!
Tremendous page. Wonderful composition
Absolutely lovely. Well done for securing this beauty!
That's a lot of ink from the incomparable Mr Nowlan. Great work from Jon Bogdanove too! Congratulations on an intense page.
Another lovely piece. You are right in the rarity of Brian Lewis art - I have rarely seen his art all. You've done well to secure this. Congrats!
Another wonderful Gary Martin piece. Congratulations!
