Can never get tired of Hughes' art for the character he had become a legend drawing.  Even in the waning days of the bad girl craze, his storytelling on these pages showed he had advanced as an artist.  

Wonderful piece! Eric outdoes himself every time he specfically draws the Queen of Hell. And is this your first Basaldua in your collection? This is an especially beautiful piece, even if it isn't =)

i am not familar with Siya Oum but their work with Lady Death is breath taking. Siya approach of not oversexualizing LD, limiting the colors, and not forcing skulls and horror surrounding LD gives her warmth. thanks for sharing good buddy

The design behind her is like right out of my synthwave trapper keeper of the 80's with some Pee Chee folders inside of it.  Very 80's and very beautiful.

Killer page from the sendaway issue!  It might have gotten even a bigger audience than the regular title with such a wide across the board appeal with Wizard that served to hold together all types of comic fandom.  Some of hughes' best work with an outrageous spooky mansion and an equally disturbing shot on the ground with so many tombstones.

I don't know how you got this but I am happy you did. This is a jaw dropper good buddy. Just wow. Both panels are just over the top amazing. Love it and probably an automatic vote for best of caf 2022 for me. Thanks for sharing.

it's cool you have the entire of the 3 pages bit story. i know these were the steamiest pages of the book and for my luck these are also the 3 pages i am not after from the book. congrats on your pick ups and like always - thanks for sharing.

Heaven is a place on Earth.  

I guess the pale skin and the cool attitude lends itself to the Art Deco line and Pop art graphic design style of Nagel.  Powerful female image against a solid pattern backdrop!   

That's one happy skull as it gets a nice vantage point to admire Lady Death up close.

Monte knock this beautiful piece out of the park. i love the colors and that little skull on the bra strap is spot on a devil in the detail. congrats on another home run.

i'm back and this is absolutely beautiful. there are many great varient LD covers and many of them are knock outs, including this one. congrats big buddy. you have a stunner here

The black leather on her and the chair makes the white scorching hot on this piece.

Man! Siya is a beast. Her covers are such a treat to behold and this Lady Death is a mold breaker! Congrats on landing such a superhuman piece!

Exquisite Damascus steel patterns on the armor of a captivating Lady Death.  The painting leaves you awestruck.  No idea why she would need goggles, maybe it's for the wood working and metal smithing.  

Just tell her it's a strange brew to have those elements all thrown in together. Eh?

A slim and lean Lady Death.  The pile of skulls, flowing hair, slick wet patent leather, smooth skin, and tender lips provide plenty of textures to ponder when choosing what to touch first.

Limited to 1.  I like the branding with the "Z"s and the "RH" for this, making it truly belong to the title.  

You're completely right Jason. We need more paintings. Between us i'm working on a project of 6 paintings.
