Oh, Man. WCA #12 was one of the first books I bought off the rack, and I am lucky enough to own one of its pages. Very cool to see this here!
Holy cow, am I the last to realize that this is a swipe on the cover from Detective Comics 395? Amazing cover!
A super nice cover!
Hop over and check out the companion cover by Ron and Sal:

I was a little bummed out when I went back to Lee's table and discovered you had picked this up at Baltimore. Awesome art.
Coipel/Morales was the best thing since Frenz/Sinnott on Thor. Great page!
That's it! Thank you so much for sharing!
Awesome pickup! It's amazing to see so much going on in just two pages.
Only because his table wasn't marked and he walked in late. Luckily, I spotted him walking in!
I know what you mean! I'm the same way about Blue Beetle on this cover: https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1480274
It is so tough to find great Magneto art! Big congrats.
Loved this cover! I remember a while back seeing the Rivera version on eBay, and I figured it was a counterfeit of someone downloading the pencils off DeviantArt (you can find it there) and inking over it to pass off as the published cover. Interesting to find out it was actually pro work for DC.
I agree! JMS and Matt Fraction did some excellent Thor runs.
I'm not a fan of how Jason Aaron and Donny Cates treated him.
So much to like here! When I grow up, I want to have a nice Colan/Palmer DD page...
I love how Thor is about to take a swing while everyone, including Hyperion, is running away. Awesome piece!
It was a pretty cool story. In this issue, Peter and Reed weren't able to get rid of the symbiote, and it bonded with Peter until it used him up, leaving him aged 90+ years and then bonded with progressively more powerful hosts such as Hulk and Thor.
Love this. There's not enough good Cyclops art out there.
Fantastic cover! Does anyone know if he drew this before ASM 300? This one was actually published one month after ASM 300, and the same month as ASM 301. That's some lightning-fast self-homages!
I acquired the page following this one from a fellow commenter, but this page is better than most covers. Awesome pickup!
Congrats on getting your commission! I paid for a full figure Thor in 2018, and never got it.
For fans out there, I recommend buying finished ones on the market.
I LOVE continuous pages. I feel like it's a small compensation for the breaking up of the stories. I have been meaning to start a gallery like this, and I will soon.
Matt Wagner is also awesome and a nice guy.
Gosh, no kidding on the colors. The note on the margin says "flames", and they go with blue?
Wow, what a very cool piece from an awesome era! I also love the mystery of trying to figure out where it's from.
Fair, but Clark Kent certainly does!
Yes! Mike's work that I've seen is all self-finished, and he puts tremendous effort into the background details as well. He doesn't rely on the colorist to provide texture like many modern artists.
Romita drew some fantastic Treasury covers, and this is a fine example. Congrats!
Holy crap! What an awesome cover. This was one of my first handful of comics I stashed in my garage to hide from my sister! Let me know if you spot a page from this for sale! Big Congrats!
Fan. Freakin. tastic. One of the handful of early Marvel books I acquired as a little kid. Thank you for sharing!
Poor Asgardians can't catch a break. They had just been restored from death and already had their new Asgard destroyed! Awesome depiction of Thor in his modern armor. Congrats!
Wow! A classic McSpidey pose framed by his iconic webbing! Fantastic.
What a classic beautiful cover! I've got 4 copies of this book in my man cave. Joe's inks always make anyone's pencils glow, but what a bonus that it's over John Romita himself!
Love Mike's work and this cover! Congrats!
The undisputed best Klein Thor cover! Big Congrats! They finally covered up that goofy floaty electric hair with his helmet!
One of my favorite Thor moments! Right up there with when he trashed Iron Man after his resurrection.
I won't be lame and offer to double your money, but I will say that's awesome that you were able to hunt this down and have held on to it all this time!
One of the best artist duos in all of comicdom. Congrats!
A Frenz Thor cover is a beautiful thing, and what a great example!
What an amazing page! There's no gristle on this steak! If Colan is underrated, I hope he stays that way until I'm done collecting. I'd really like a solid Colan Daredevil page for my collection, but this would be amazing.
Wow! Talk about a priceless piece of history! Congrats on your trade!
