I wish people would experiment more with styles of clothing and poses, such as the artist in this picture. I really like the fact that the facial features are remniscent of some of the Generation-X issues, but the attire is a bit more updated to reflect someone in her late teens. Too often, people get stuck into the 'trenchcoat and thick boots' look, because it's classic, and because they often think that's what fans want to see. I really like the breezy feel of the pose as well. :)
Through your collection of Jubilee artwork, and through the artist's own collection that he's made available on comcartfans, I've come to really appreciate the fact that Vo Nguyen seems very willing to experiment with all forms of styles and looks with the character - especially when it comes to giving her a more mature and updated appearance. While I'm not particularly fond of the 'thickness' of the character in this particular piece, I adore the pose and the style used. I contacted the artist recently with regards to a commission and wanted to thank you for sharing your collection with everyone. :)
