Runaways #13 panel Illustration Owner: Robert Penn Comment posted on 1/23/2025 Ah, so you're the one that got this half page! Way back when David sold these pages on his webstore, I wasn't fast enough to secure the full page and only got the top half. I always wondered if I would ever see the bottom half again. Thank you for sharing it! |

All New X-Men #22 - Preliminary cover art Owner: Diogo C Comment posted on 1/22/2023

Really superb prelim that Stuart went all out on - different shades of marker, galactic backgrounds, white marker borders, even red lettering. He obviously knew this was an important cover uniting these two teams at a really exciting time, for a really fun story, and "prelimmed" accordingly! :) Sweet score, Diogo! ![]() I totally agree. It's not easy to place so many characters in a cover and make it work. Even more difficult to make a rough sketch work with 11 characters thrown in and not make a mess. Our eyes can easily read the cover and distinguish who is who. |

Gogo Yubari by Cameron Stewart Owner: Greg McKee Comment posted on 1/20/2023 I remember this sketch and The Bride's one from when I was a teenager! It has been many years but I think this was some fan art that Cameron did for fun. Back then I stumbled upon the drawings when I was searching for Cameron's work after being announced as a guest at a local comics event. I really enjoyed them so much at the time that, when I attended the event, I asked him to draw The Bride. I just shared the sketch on my gallery. Thank you for sharing, it brought back memories. |

Artgerm - Rogue (Savage Land) Owner: Diogo C Comment posted on 12/22/2022

Such a glamorous look on Rogue. Artgerm uses the rougher line values to bring a nice volume to the figure and her hair, but a sharper line for the face to get great appeal. ![]() Thank you for your comment Marcus. The rough lines as you describe were due to the sketchbook I brought. I use grained paper (for charcoal and watercolor) because sometimes artists use watercolor or other materials that don't look great on thinner paper. In this case it gave a texture to Artgerms' lines that is not his usual style. At least compared to other sketches here on CAF. |

No Comments? Savages! Love this! Dont get to see these two badass ladies together on much so this on a shirt is a beaut. Congrats on this piece! Love Scott Pilgrim! ![]() Thank you, Nash! I updated the description with the story how I managed to get it. It was quite stressful submitting request after request and seeing them all go "on hold". |
